I had revision surgery this September at the clinic.
Because I wanted this to be my last surgery, I went for consultations at all the well-known revision hospitals. Since my nose had functional problems, I decided to have surgery with an ENT specialist, and during the consultation, the director was the most serious and I liked him the best, so I proceeded with the surgery.
Because it is not a review-event clinic or a factory-style plastic surgery clinic at all, the price was a bit expensive, but I received about 2.5 million won back through private medical insurance. They also provided detailed documents for the insurance claim, and I could rest in the inpatient room after surgery, so I was satisfied in many ways, and I am very satisfied with the result too.
I especially liked that the consultation manager-type person and all the staff working there were nurses, so they all had professional knowledge. When I told a nurse about whether I could take medications I was on or about things I was worried about, she immediately looked at the medication packets, identified the drugs, and sorted them out for me And the nurse who also did the manager’s work had such a great personality. I had so many worries after the first surgery, but she made me feel at ease!
I explained in detail about three things: function, nasal tip stiffness, and shape. The results came out so satisfying in all areas that I don’t think I’ll need any more surgery!! It turned out very natural, as if this had always been my nose ㅠㅡㅠ (Especially the columella area had retracted a lot after the first surgery, but he lowered it well using the ear cartilage that had been used in the first surgery.)
For my first surgery, I failed after going to a completely factory-style place without proper consultation, so this time I asked the director, manager, and nurses questions almost like a question machine, organized the direction I wanted and printed about 10 pages, and visited about 4 times before surgery. Every time I went, they listened well without showing any discomfort, and they took my printouts to look at them and didn’t return them I was touched. I didn’t get them back at all, though.. But I think that means they reviewed them thoroughly!
I was worried because there were many reviews saying the shape was not good, but I think those comments came up because the director pursues a very natural-looking nose and does not really do thin, long, obvious plastic-surgery noses. I wanted to go back to a rounded, extremely natural nose from the start, so I’m very satisfied! Needless to say, the functional part was done well too! I hope everyone getting revision surgery has good results!
