A super honest review I’m leaving for before-and-after records,, I’m putting an ice pack on my eyes and typing this right away before I forget
I ended up getting natural adhesion at ㅇㅁㄷ (nut) plastic surgery clinic One side had a double crease, so it kept loosening and I was annoyed that I sometimes had to use double-eyelid glue; I also wanted the line a little higher, so I went ahead with it Anyway, a famous YouTuber had it done here, and it’s known for having little swelling and the price is good, so I chose ㅇㅁㄷ! The director also told me during the consultation that they value a natural look, and with the friendly, gentle vibe, plus saying my eyes were already pretty and giving me nice compliments, I was completely won over!!!!!!
My surgery was scheduled for 5:00 p.m., and they asked me to come by 4:30 p.m., but it was pouring rain that day and the traffic jam was severe I said I was really sorry and would try to get there by 5:00 p.m., and I arrived at 5:00 p.m.
First I paid everything except the deposit, then changed clothes But there were really, really many people, so it felt like a factory After changing, they told me to remove my makeup
There was a cabinet and powder room together, and on one side there was a space where you could change clothes behind a curtain, like a fitting room in a clothing store But there was a line for the changing room..... maybe because there were only two booths Anyway, it was so chaotic and embarrassing;; Anyway, after waiting for the fitting room I changed and immediately went in bare-faced Click click for photos The person taking photos also seemed super rushed lol I wondered if this was really right; it felt like a busy market, all crowded and hectic
Maybe because it was the Chuseok holiday, or maybe it’s usually like that, I don’t know, but I’ve had various procedures and surgeries, and I’ve never seen it feel this much like a market before lol
After the photos, I paid, had a final consultation with the director (like 10 seconds..?), and was told they’d draw everything in the operating room anyway, so we’d talk more later
The waiting room (usually a room for one person, but here there are several sofas in one room and people resting after surgery are all mixed together, though it’s separated by curtains) So I waited there for 30 to 40 minutes!
Finally I was called into the operating room! The nurses in the operating room were all unbelievably kind and cheerful Since I had worn contacts and then took them out, my eyes were bloodshot They were a bit startled and asked if I had been crying, almost hugging me (?) lol
Usually operating room nurses tend to be rather stoic, but here the atmosphere in the OR was nice, so I felt at ease
They did the final markings on my eyes, and after the anesthesia injection I started getting sleepy little by little but I had some weird competitive spirit like I wanted to win against it (?) I was trying hard to remember everything, but before I knew it, it was over! I guess I blacked out? lol I do remember bits and pieces, which somehow made it not feel like I was fully asleep. Anyway, it didn’t hurt at all!!!!!!!!!
My eyes felt kind of stiff and heavy, and I was resting in that curtain-divided sofa room where I had waited before surgery The nurse asked how I was doing and said if I felt dizzy I needed to rest more, and she was very attentive The doctor also came by and said my eyes were already pretty, so it turned out well, and only then did he smile and say that to me
After resting well like that, I got the explanation, received my medicine, and went home~~
✔️Summary: The waiting atmosphere inside the hospital felt like a factory and wasn’t great, but the nurses in the operating room and the doctor were kind, so I felt comfortable I’m satisfied with the result too! I hope the swelling goes down soon~~
