Review after natural adhesion double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty~!

First, the reason I decided to get double eyelid surgery was because I wanted to correct my asymmetrical eyes and make my small eyes look bigger. As for the clinic, rather than relying on recommendations from acquaintances, I personally used the Gangnam Unni app to compare all the eye shapes and double eyelid surgery reviews that seemed to suit me best, then selected and visited 3 clinics where I wanted consultations. Among them, One Pick Plastic Surgery did not have a very long consultation wait time, and above all, the consultation was really good. Before deciding on double eyelid surgery, I had many worries about side effects, so I looked up various procedure methods on YouTube, blogs, and so on, and I really thought a lot about whether I should do buried suture or incision, or whether I should do an in-line or out-line crease. But after visiting all the other clinics, I don’t think there was any clinic that explained the procedure method and time, side effects, follow-up care, and so on in as much detail as One Pick. So a lot of my fear about surgery went away, and I was able to gain a lot of trust. Below, I wrote my review after having a total of 2 consultations and surgery at One Pick, and completing the postoperative care.

1. Consultation First, I had a consultation with chief director Oh Jae-yoon. The procedures I received were natural adhesion double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty. The reason I chose natural adhesion (one type of buried suture method) was because my skin was not thick enough to require an incision, and I thought it had fewer side effects. Also, I have allergies to oral medications, so the process proceeded after discussing this thoroughly with the director.

2. Day of surgery On the day of surgery, everything proceeded in a very comfortable atmosphere, it started at 10 a.m., the surgery finished after about an hour and a half, I got a swelling injection?, and I think I was discharged around 12 and went home. During the surgery, I had sleep anesthesia and local anesthesia.. I slept well and woke up, so I don’t remember much. Also, I only took one painkiller on the day after surgery and did not take any after that. Personally, I did not think it was extremely painful.

3. Postoperative care This was the part I liked the most. Starting the day right after surgery until before removing the epicanthoplasty stitches, I received laser treatment to reduce swelling. The swelling definitely went down quickly. But I was a case with quite a lot of bruising.. So even on the day the stitches were removed, I received a laser treatment to help the bruising subside. It is currently going down, but for bruising, warm compresses and time are definitely the best medicine.

In conclusion, I was so grateful that One Pick took such meticulous care of me from consultation to surgery and postoperative care. The residual swelling still needs to go down a bit more, but now that 2 weeks have passed, above all, it seems to have come out in the shape I wanted, so I really like it!!
