Actually, I did it almost right after all my baby teeth were replaced when I was young, so I don't know if it will be very helpful to everyone here, but orthodontic treatment is the only thing I've spent money on for my face, so I'm writing a review
Since I was young, I kept biting my nails, so my upper jaw kept protruding
When I bit down, my upper teeth covered my lower teeth so much they couldn't be seen at all
But after orthodontic treatment, it improved completely. I'm so satisfied I always told my friends that after braces, I went from a monkey to a human
I had two teeth extracted, one of the smallest premolars on each side of my upper teeth, and I think for those debating extractions, doing it wouldn't be bad
However, the inconvenient part after orthodontic treatment is that you have to wear a retainer almost for life. Actually, I barely feel it now, but it's a bit uncomfortable to pay attention around the salivary gland area when brushing my teeth
I did it together with my younger sibling at my friend's mother's clinic. I didn't really shop around and went there right away, but I'm extremely satisfied, and my parents still say it was one of the best things they did
I think my youngest sibling will probably need orthodontic treatment too, and I think we'll just do it here again
And another unexpectedly good thing is that my habit of biting my nails was fixed?
Anyway, I think getting orthodontic treatment was such a good decision. My sibling, my parents, and I are all satisfied haha
My parents paid for it when I was young, so I don't know the exact costㅜㅜ
