It’s been almost 10 years since my first surgery. At the time, they used septal cartilage and donated rib cartilage, but now it feels like quite a lot has been absorbed.. I started feeling like my nasal tip had drooped from the 2nd year. Since then, it felt like it was gradually being absorbed?… My nose shape now is that the bridge extends nicely and clearly, but it suddenly cuts off at the tip.. It looks too artificial… so I think it would be better to correct it while my recovery ability is still even a little good, so I’m planning to have revision surgery this time.. Since I used donated rib cartilage for my first surgery, I think this time it’ll probably be done with autologous rib cartilage. My biggest worry is whether autologous rib cartilage will eventually get absorbed too.. I know some absorption will probably happen.. but if it gets absorbed enough for the nasal tip to become a ㄷ-shaped form like now, that would be really difficult.. If surgery is done with autologous rib cartilage, is there definitely less absorption? Please share reviews from people who had autologous rib cartilage surgery a long time ago
