It’s been about a year and a half since I removed my L-shaped silicone implant!
For the year after removal, I was so happy. There was no foreign-body sensation, so it was comfortable, and I didn’t feel much difference from before removal haha
But even after a year passed, the swelling kept going down, and overall my nose became lower and the nasal tip became much wider and flatter.
At the hospital where I had my first surgery, they had shaved down my nasal bridge, and because I had an L-shaped silicone implant in, it became much uglier than my original noseㅠㅠ
It was a mistake to remove it while blindly thinking I would return to my original nose. Everyone, your original nose, surgical nose, and post-removal nose are truly all different shapes. They may be similar only if it wasn’t touched as much as possible, but after looking it up again, they say a short nose can become a little shorter, and a bulbous nose can come back a little more spread out.
I’m so sad that I unnecessarily touched my original nose when I was youngㅠㅠ
Even now, my nasal tip is a bit plump and protrudes more than my nasal bridge, but if this plumpness is swelling, that means the more it goes down, the more spread out it will become, so I’m depressedㅠㅠ!
I also ended up removing the implant for somewhat psychological reasons, and at that time I only looked at reviews from people who were only a few months after removal, and I selected only positive words to listen to, so I regret going through with it.
Usually, when I read stories from people several years out, they seem to think similarly to meㅠㅠ If I could go back, I wouldn’t have had nose surgery itself, but if I went back to after that, I also don’t think I would have had nose removal just because of simple psychological concerns.
Everyone, for surgeries on the face, really think about the worst-case scenario, and do it only when you feel you can’t leave it alone! I want to let you know that nose implant removal really makes the face look a level uglierㅠㅡㅠ I’m depressed before bed, so I’m scribbling this down and leaving.
