I had surgery at the end of August, so I’m now almost at week 2. I have some things to ask, and I’d always thought, “I should write a post on the review board someday lol,” so this is my proper review post!! It might not be fun, but I’m writing hard in hopes that at least the information will be shared lololol
I got Motiva implants, and I was debating between 315 and 320 (Full, Demi), then ended up getting Full 315 cc lol. I was worried because people say Full looks unnatural when lying down, but since I already had surgery anyway, I thought Demi probably wouldn’t be that different, so I chose the one that looks prettier while standing and gives a fuller-looking volume!
The incision was at the inframammary fold, and I definitely recovered arm use quickly. I’d seen a lot of posts saying that in the beginning people stayed lying down and couldn’t even get their bodies up, so they sort of slid down off the bed, and I was really scared too. But for me, lying down and getting back up just felt about as hard as having muscle soreness after core exercise, and I could move around well. On day 3, when I went to Glam to have the bandage removed, I went by myself just fine and confidently.
And if I list a few things that seem good to bring on the day of surgery, I can think of about 1) throat lozenges 2) heat packs 3) electrolyte drink 4) small snacks like a tiny chocolate bar. You can’t eat right away after surgery anyway, you know? You have to wait before you can drink water or eat anything, but when you first wake up from anesthesia, your throat is really thirsty and dry.. You’ll think you want to gulp down Powerade, so once that fasting period ends, I think it would be really good to drink the electrolyte drink you brought instead of water together with throat lozenges I didn’t bring throat lozenges, but after surgery I searched and saw so many people talking about throat lozenges ㅡㅡ.. I wished I’d brought some. Anyway, throat lozenges, an electrolyte drink, heat packs because your hands and feet may get cold, and lastly, you may get hungry, feel empty, and have low sugar, so I think it’d be good to bring something like a chocolate bar!!
What should you prepare at home?? This may just depend on the person, but I didn’t buy anything besides a triangular cushion.. I already had a box of nipple patches I normally used, so I just used those. For scar ointment, the hospital said they’d tell me what ointment to buy when the time came, and stretch mark cream is about all you need. I bought it on the day I went to have the bandage removed. A lot of people talk about a back scratcher too, but my back isn’t normally that itchy, so I didn’t buy one lol
Oh, but there is one thing.. After surgery, my skin feels quite dry. I apply stretch mark cream as stretch mark cream, and I’m also applying a lot of body lotion + living with hand cream. They say scratching when it itches can cause pigmentation, so whenever it itches, I just apply lotion and get by. Everyone here who doesn’t have enough moisturizing creams at home might want to buy a large pump bottle in advance!!
The feel is still firm, and the shape is also a little upper-full, but? The size isn’t excessive, and I’m thinking that as the swelling goes down and the implants settle downward, it might become really natural haha. I don’t think it’s time yet to show off excitedly, so once I reach around the stable period later, I’ll come back then to show it off. I’ll take tons of photos hehe
Oh, and what I want to ask people who’ve had surgery is whether you can stretch with your arms up or do the “hands-up” posture well...!!! The consultant told me not to do those movements until the first 2 weeks, so I haven’t been doing them yet. But when I looked it up, some people said they couldn’t raise their arms overhead at first after surgery?? I’m so curious whether it starts happening on its own once the breast pocket opens up and the skin stretches, or whether I need to stretch often, and so on. And also when sensation came back!!!
Right now, if I don’t put on nipple patches, I have a tingling pain, so I always keep them on. When did everyone start feeling okay??? I don’t know if people who had surgery will see this, but if anyone sees it, please make sure to answer.. I’m too embarrassed to make a new post to ask haha, so I’m asking together while writing this review.
