The abdominal swelling lasted about 10 days, I think, and there wasn’t really any extremely severe pain except for the first 3 days when I had the compression bandage on. The scar felt tight, so I worried, what if this tears.. That was about it! I had surgery with Director Ok, and the director’s confident way of speaking(?) was one of the reasons that made me think I should have the surgery here. I’m managing the scar with ointment now, and I think I’ll soon go in for my 1-month follow-up!
