I’m extremely natural-looking + conservative, so if you want info on semi-glamorous to glamorous styles, my post won’t help.. I’ve been to a total of 9 places so far, and I still have appointments booked at 7 more places..! haha
1) ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ (ㄱㅈㅇ) consultation fee 10,000 won The director was very kind and warm. He recommended using septal cartilage for the nasal tip and ear cartilage to fill the step-off. But among the 9 hospitals, he was the only one who said I had a bulbous nose (in reality, my skin is thin and I don’t have a bulbous nose..). Post-op care is swelling laser, AS period is 1 year, and reviews are recommended rather than forced?
2) ㅁㅌ (ㅇㅎㅅ) consultation fee 10,000 won It’s a hospital very famous for doing things naturally and safely, but personally I don’t think I matched well with the director’s personality.. The consultation also felt a bit insincere. They would proceed with septal cartilage and ear cartilage for a columellar strut plus septal extension. It was the most expensive of the 9 places.
3) ㅎㅇㅂ director, consultation fee I don’t remember The wait was way too long.. The director did give a thorough consultation, but it felt like some of the same points were repeated, and in the end I didn’t get an answer.. I was recommended donated costal cartilage for the nasal tip. Personally, I really dislike donated costal cartilage, so it was a no for me.
4) ㅋㅂㅈ (ㅎㅅㅁ) consultation fee 10,000 won They would proceed with septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, doing a strut + septal extension together. Unusually, he suggested raising the nasal bridge between the eyes (=glabella) with something like ear fascia..? It did feel somewhat professional, but I don’t think the aesthetic sense matches mine well..
5) ㅊㅇㅊㄹ (ㅇㅂㅅ) I think there was probably no consultation fee.. It was nice because the director explained things very thoroughly and kindly, and the manager was also very kind. Septal extension + step-off correction with ear cartilage. He emphasized that I absolutely do not have a bulbous nose, and said that if I did something like skin removal, it would definitely show through later, so absolutely not to do it. Honestly, everything was so good, but the aesthetic sense was slightly off from mine..
6) ㅅㅇㅋ (ㄱㅈㅈ) no consultation fee The consultation with the manager was much longer than the consultation with the director.. I’ll omit the rest.. ha..
7) ㄷㄹ (ㅅㅈㅇ) consultation fee 10,000 won The director was very kind and explained everything one by one in detail. He seemed extremely safety-oriented and seemed to tailor things very well to the customer’s needs. Septal cartilage + ear cartilage for strut + septal extension. He recommended not doing nasal-tip step-off correction and just raising it enough so there wouldn’t be a step-off. AS period is 1 year.
8) ㅈㅇㅅ (ㅈㅇㅅ) consultation fee 10,000 won Closed approach, using septal cartilage to raise only the nasal tip. This was the first hospital I went to, and he was very honest with no exaggeration. He treated me like a daughter and didn’t pressure me into surgery at all. If anything, he opposed everything except the nasal tip. He told me absolutely not to put anything on the nasal bridge. I recommend that anyone thinking about rhinoplasty at least go for a consultation. He really felt like an absolute master. Since this may sound like a broker post, I’ll add this: the director truly has insane skill in revisions and reconstruction, but his aesthetic sense is slightly old-fashioned and he is stubborn, so I have absolutely no intention of having surgery here.
9) ㄱㅇ (ㅎㅈ) no consultation fee Nasal bridge Gore-Tex 2 mm, nasal-tip strut with ear cartilage. The director was kind and very confident. He said he could correct an upturned nose with his own surgical technique without septal extension, and in the review photos he looked especially strong with upturned noses, so I really liked that. However, I absolutely don’t want to use an implant, so I’m debating whether to go for another consultation about doing only the nasal tip. Also, the hospital facilities are very outdated.. From what the manager said, it seems like AS is unlimited.
