Before, before-after, after-after, 45-degree cheekbones. My 45-degree cheekbones stuck out, and it was a lifelong source of stress. It is no exaggeration to say I had surgery because of my 45-degree cheekbones. Other natural/natural-glam clinics said I would not see much effect from facial contouring. One clinic said there was almost no lateral cheekbone to move inward, so the effect would not be dramatic, and because my chin was small, advancement could not be done, so they recommended sewing together 2 silicone implants and inserting them. But at Taco, they said there was lateral cheekbone that could be moved inward and that advancement could also be done sufficiently, so I did it at Taco.
During the consultation, using Photoshop, they said the first priority for improving my face was a retruded chin, and that if it was advanced, the 45-degree cheekbones would look less prominent. Then they said the second priority was the 45-degree cheekbones. And to match the harmony between my head shape and face, they showed me a simulation of how much the 45-degree cheekbones would be reduced, how much the lateral cheekbones would go in, and how much the anterior chin would come forward. I was recommended a total of 2 procedures, but because I wanted more, I asked why I could not do 3 procedures, and they said it was because I would see enough effect with just 2 procedures. They recommended 2 procedures, but I insisted hard and asked to change it to 3 procedures, so they said since there was not much square jaw, they would only trim enough to correct asymmetry and do cortical bone resection. But I am glad I did 3 procedures,,.
As a result, the lateral cheekbones were reduced by 7 mm on the left and 6 mm on the right (13 mm total on both sides), the 45-degree cheekbones were reduced by 3 mm, the chin tip was advanced and lengthened/rotated by 6 mm, and cortical bone resection was performed. The cortical bone resection was also done clearly enough that you can see on CT that it was shaved down a lot Because my asymmetry on both sides was severe, a little orbital shaving was also done.
The advancement went well, so there are no problems like a secondary angle or hanging chin, and the frontal effect with straight cheekbones is insane. My frontal facial area shrank so much,, I thought reducing the 45-degree cheekbones would be the biggest part, but they pushed in every bit of the lateral cheekbones as much as possible, and a lot of cortical bone resection was done, so my frontal area became half the size, and everyone who sees me thinks I dieted really hard. If your bone is thick enough for cortical bone resection, I strongly recommend cortical bone resection
