Eye Surgery Considerations

Hit community review

I thought I would get used to it after some time had passed since my first nose surgery, but the bulbous-nose appearance did not improve much and my nose still looked short. I kept being bothered by how blunt the tip looked, especially from the front, and increasingly wanted to live feeling satisfied with my nose, so I eventually decided on revision rhinoplasty. Hit Plastic Surgery was often mentioned for bulbous-nose revisions, so I booked a consultation and met Director Han Sang-cheol. Honestly, I expected revision consultations to be more difficult and vague, but this consultation was more organized than I expected. The director explained things professionally without making them unnecessarily difficult or speaking ambiguously, clearly separating what was possible from what was structurally limited. In particular, he realistically explained why it happens—where the current problems with my nose are—and how it could be improved—how to set goals within the possible range. He said a bulbous nose cannot simply be made thin no matter what, and guided me toward a surgical method that could reduce the bluntness of the tip without disrupting the balance of my face. I asked quite a lot of questions because revision surgery scared me more—columella, scars, changes to the tip, the nasolabial angle, and how the shape stabilizes during recovery—and the answers were genuinely specific. I am still at the stage of making my final decision, but based on the consultation alone, I felt it was worth considering for anyone deliberating about revision surgery because of a bulbous nose. They did not speak excessively optimistically; it felt like we were setting a direction together to achieve the best possible result within the realistic limits. It would suit people who want calm, realistic explanations.
