It has been three years since surgery. Overall, I am satisfied, and the residual swelling seemed to last about a year, longer than expected. I am naturally thin with little body fat, but right after surgery I developed fat under my chin, almost like a double chin. I think it may be because the jawbone was reduced. However, the sagging seems manageable with something like Shurink or a lifting laser, for now!! I brought specific photos and explained how much I wanted, and the surgeon carefully understood my needs. Because I trusted him, I was able to relax and undergo what was a major surgery. Still, it really hurt immediately afterward. The scar is still visible if you look closely, but I do not mind it.
