Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] review

I was quite stressed about my face shape. My cheekbones looked prominent and I also had a square jaw, so I worried that my face looked wide and angular overall. The blunt feeling at the chin tip bothered me whenever I took photos, and after much deliberation I underwent three-part facial contouring at [Clinic A]: cheekbones, square jaw, and chin tip. Before surgery, I was very worried because it involved altering bone. I was tense after hearing that swelling would last a long time and that recovery would be needed, but after surgery the initial swelling was more severe than expected, and I was startled whenever I looked in the mirror. Eating was uncomfortable, and opening my mouth wide or smiling felt awkward, so it took some time to adjust. It has now been about two months since surgery, and compared with the beginning, much of the swelling has gone down. I still feel some residual swelling, and there are small daily differences, but from the front my facial line looks more refined than before, which is fascinating. I am especially satisfied that my cheekbones and jawline look less prominent. I was also concerned about sensation. After surgery, the area around my mouth and jaw felt different from usual. Facial contouring has a six-month recovery period, so it is too early to say I have fully recovered, and I am still monitoring the progress. However, when I visited for a follow-up, the director said the surgery had gone well, so I have no particular worries. Since it has only been two months, I do not consider this the final result. Still, whereas my cheekbones and square jaw used to stand out separately, my facial line now feels gradually softer, so I am even more curious about the future, haha.
