It has already been six months since my double-jaw surgery. Before surgery, my facial asymmetry was always bothering me, and it seemed to worsen over time, so after much deliberation, I decided to have the surgery. At first, there was swelling and the recovery process was not easy, but I am satisfied to see my face gradually becoming more natural over time. I still have some residual swelling, and sensation has not completely returned in some areas, but I think recovery simply needs more time. I am also undergoing orthodontic treatment, and I am looking forward to seeing how my face will change once it is finished. It has not fully settled yet, but seeing how different I look from before surgery makes me feel that I made the right decision. I will continue taking care of myself and watching the rest of the recovery process.
