7 years ago, I got double eyelid surgery simply because it was affordable. The director was kind, and he explained things well. I was aiming for a natural look, so we didn’t do anything excessive. I had the Mongolian fold covering the inner corner of my eyes removed, and the surgery was done with the incisional method. Up until about 1 month after surgery, the line was thick, deep, and prominent, so it was noticeable, but it had that bold-eyed look?? I was young then, so I thought it looked pretty because my eyes looked defined, but after 1 year, 2 years passed, it just kept becoming more natural. I like that the line isn’t thick, and as for the epicanthoplasty, enough skin has come back that I could even consider revision surgery. Double eyelid surgery is truly a surgery I feel glad I did. The hospital facilities are a bit old because the building has some age, but the director is good and checks the postoperative progress well. It was done under local anesthesia, and the anesthesia injection hurt so much. The surgery itself didn’t hurt, but during the epicanthoplasty it was unpleasantly painful~! It was a surgery with high satisfaction, so even now, 7 years later, I’m living satisfied with it.
