Haha, honestly, this is my first time writing a post like this, so I don’t know how I should write it, but I’m just going to leave my experience as it was. I had my first nose surgery a few years ago, and the result was honestly a mess. My nose was upturned and crooked, and even became asymmetrical, so every time I looked in the mirror, the stress was no joke. I felt like I couldn’t keep living while being bothered by it like this, so I considered revision surgery and eventually made up my mind to have surgery again.
This time I had revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage, and until then my rhinitis was so severe that even breathing was difficult. So I also had functional nose surgery together. Honestly, because it was a revision surgery, I was extremely anxious, but from the consultation, they checked everything carefully and explained things well, so I trusted them and left it to them.
The result is beyond my expectations. I like the shape of my nose, it’s no longer upturned or crooked like before, and the symmetry has become perfect. And breathing has become really comfortable too. It made me wonder when I ever suffered from a blocked nose because of rhinitis. It’s to the point where I realized breathing could really be this comfortable.
People around me also say my nose turned out naturally well, and now I don’t feel stressed every time I look in the mirror. I think getting revision rhinoplasty was a good decision.
