My cheekbones protruded quite severely, so I had always thought about getting surgery, but I kept putting it off. This time, the timing worked out, so I got it done. For the first week after surgery, I couldn't even go outside and mostly stayed at home as if I were recovering. It was hard, but seeing how my appearance has changed, I definitely think I made the right choice. It's been one month since surgery, and I think a lot of the swelling has gone down now. I'm very satisfied.
