(Since I had all my eye procedures done at different clinics, I wasn’t sure which clinic to list, so I just listed the clinic where I most recently had my secondary medial epicanthoplasty. All the other surgeries were done at different clinics.) Now that I write it out, I really had all kinds of things done to my eyes lolololololol. I didn’t do all of this in a short period; these were procedures done over 10 years. But as for my eyes, finally, finally... I like them nowㅠㅠ I knew my eyes were a difficult case for surgery, and for my first surgery I followed my mom to a clinic outside Seoul, and ended up with huge sausage-like eyelids.. and a medial epicanthoplasty that looked like it had been gouged out with a spoon..ㅠㅠ Anyone could tell they were pretty, but they were obviously surgically done and botched-looking eyes, and I lived with them like that. Now that I’m a bit older and have a little more financial room, I had more eye surgery.
Under-eye fat repositioning = satisfied = they moved the fat, so I got more aegyo-sal
Medial epicanthoplasty restoration = extremely dissatisfied = you have to be careful with this. Maybe it’s different if it’s a micro-restoration.. In my case, they closed it up so much that I seriously looked like a frog, and I asked them to close it sharply, but when I went to a secondary epicanthoplasty clinic, they said that no matter how sharply it’s closed, if the restoration amount is large, it eventually becomes round. (I had it done at a clinic famous for restoration, and it was legendary lol)
Double-eyelid lowering surgery = satisfied = At the time I was so sick of the sausage eyelids that I almost lowered them all the way to an inline crease, but I chose an in-out line, and now I think it was good that I didn’t lower them more.
Lateral/lower canthoplasty = average = I think you really need to meet the right doctor. The doctor I had didn’t open them much, so it doesn’t show much, but up close it looks like they cut it unevenly. But it doesn’t really cause any problems, so I’m just living with it.
Ptosis correction = I had it during my first double-eyelid surgery and lived okay, then when I had the double-eyelid lowering surgery they said I needed ptosis correction, so I had it once more. I don’t really know the difference, but my eyes open well.
