My prescription before correction was -5.25, and I had astigmatism in only one eye.

Pros: vision became 1.0, no inconvenience of putting in and taking out contact lenses
Cons: dry eye syndrome worsened, severe decrease in vision at night (it looked blurry even at the movie theater, so I got glasses), astigmatism was not corrected
Writing it down, there seem to be several cons so it may look like I am dissatisfied, but I am living very satisfied.
