Never Go to Hwang Younggu Dental Clinic

I visited because of temporomandibular joint disorder, crooked teeth with left-sided whole-body pain, and facial asymmetry, and they said the tooth imbalance was causing whole-body pain and that treatment was urgent. They said everything could improve by 80-90% and that treatment was urgent, so I made up my mind and received treatment. Was it around week 3? My face gradually started looking strange, and when I smiled, the area around my mouth did not form a smiling shape, and malocclusion developed. So I asked for a refund excluding only the appliance fee, and they said they would give me the amount after deducting 3.8 million won from 9.9 million won. When I asked for an explanation of the 3.8 million won, they wouldn’t explain and just stubbornly took a “do whatever you want” attitude, saying nonsense like it was some knowledge-transfer fee. I saw people like me protesting and raising their voices asking for refunds twice. I wonder how they can even stay in business. That removable appliance was talked about as if it were some cure-all, and he mentioned celebrities, saying people like that had received it, and that patients said it was worth a million dollars, worth 100 million won. A quack scammer old man saying bizarre things. You shouldn’t scam desperate people who are grasping at straws like that. I didn’t know at the time, but looking back, he seems mentally problematic, and I’m genuinely worried whether someone like that should be allowed to work as a doctor. I have currently filed a report with the Korea Consumer Agency’s Medical Dispute Mediation Committee, but they won’t listen, so I’m planning a lawsuit. Everyone, please spread the word widely.
