5th year of orthodontic treatment in Ilsan

I paid 50,000 won every time I visited, and since it was not an orthodontics specialty clinic, an orthodontic specialist came twice a month to check on me. By the time the 2 years of orthodontic treatment ended, 2 doctors had changed, and during the 3 years of retention, 2 more changed, so over almost 5 to 6 years I met 4 orthodontic doctors. So I cannot even remember whether the doctor when I first started orthodontic treatment was a woman or a man lol. It is kind of funny as I write it, but in the end I had 2 years of orthodontic treatment, 0 extractions, and a palate-expansion procedure. Maybe because my front tooth has a screw crown, the corrected teeth relapsed quickly ㅠㅠ Because I did not keep up with maintenance and did not wear the appliance, they shifted back, so after 2 years of orthodontic treatment and 2 years of retention, basically after 4 years, they returned to their original state ㅎ So I started orthodontic retreatment. For the retreatment, I got braces again for 6 months and finished orthodontic treatment. After that, I wear my retainer every time I sleep.. every day.. It is so annoying... I think they relapse more easily because I did not have extractions. My sibling had extractions and is living just fine without wearing a retainer ㅠㅠㅠ So my recommendation is that if extractions are needed, I definitely recommend extracting.. You should get orthodontic treatment while you are even one year younger. I highly recommend doing it in middle or high school!! Also, if you do orthodontic retreatment, it feels like the gums recede, and because the tooth roots show, the teeth look a bit more skeletal.. I do not recommend retreatment, so before needing retreatment, it is probably better to wear your retainer every day...
