Before<(Before)>After<(After)>I debated a lot over whether to do it or not, then at First Button I raised my nasal tip using no implant (donor fascia) + septal cartilage. Overall, it turned out on the natural side!
Wow... I had to remove the cotton by myself, and this is something I really couldn’t do twice; if I were told to do it again, I might just live with the face I was born with My swelling and bruising were pretty severe, so I couldn’t go out for about 3 weeks. I think it varies a lot by person. Only after a month did my nasal bridge start to look somewhat normally slim. The bruising disappeared after about 4 weeks... The bruising that formed in the crease area of the nasolabial folds was the most awful. It looked ugly and aging, and I couldn’t even cover it, haha.
As you can tell from the photos, since it’s fascia, the nasal bridge doesn’t have a very sharp, slim look and got a bit plump, so people who don’t like that would probably be better off using silicone..? For me, the goal was just to shave down the raised part of the nasal dorsum and smoothly cover the area above it, and I didn’t have any desire to raise the nasal bridge, so I didn’t use silicone! They had said ear cartilage could be used for the nasal tip too, but they just used septal cartilage. + I also had alar lift done, and honestly this is the part I’m most satisfied with
From the side, I think it changed a lot, but the overall impression didn’t change drastically and it’s natural, so if I don’t say anything, people don’t really notice. That matches what I was aiming for, so I’m generally satisfied.
Design-wise, I did request more of a semi-ski-slope shape, but they didn’t make it that way, and it seems like the doctor judges based on their own aesthetic sense + pursues stability (I think they just work within the most natural, harmonious, and safe range). For now, people around me also say it looks naturally pretty without feeling like I had surgery.
I think around week 2, I started wearing makeup, but at first I couldn’t find the changed proportions, so my eye makeup and contouring all looked strange, and I was like, why is this, did I somehow get uglier instead... Then a few days ago I got the hang of it and adjusted, and now I’ve been hearing a lot from people that I got prettier, haha. I hope everyone’s surgery goes well!
