I had lateral canthoplasty at a hospital said to be famous, and my outer eye corner became shaped like a Korean ㄷ, with a lot of red tissue showing, which looked so gross, so I went for a consultation. There was quite a wait even though it was a weekday. While waiting, I looked at the books on the table and watched the TV videos, and the double eyelids were pretty and the canthoplasty cases were all pretty too. It just seemed like they do surgery neatly and well. When I went into the consultation, Dr. Shin Jae-hoon said that if I had lateral canthoplasty reconstruction, both the exposed red tissue and the ㄷ-shape could be improved. But once I actually heard about reconstruction, I worried my eyes might look stuffy, so I’m thinking about it...
