Ever since high school, I was unhappy with my breasts, so I only wore padded bras. My friends were interested in double eyelid surgery or rhinoplasty, but I only cared about my breasts. I couldn’t do it during college because I didn’t have money, but after saving up, I got breast surgery! Since I live outside Seoul, I set aside a full day to go around for consultations. It took a total of 2 days, and I booked consultations at 9 places. I came to ㄴㅌ as the 8th hospital. After consulting with the doctor, I thought, this is the place! and booked the surgery that same day. When I searched on YouTube, I learned that for slightly constricted breasts, implants with some firmness and high viscosity (elasticity) are relatively okay for constricted breasts. The most recommended approach was subfascial placement, but I thought if I lost weight, the upper breast might protrude or the implant might show, so I did the dual-plane method. To correct slight breast asymmetry, I had 300 cc on the left and 345 cc on the right. And to align the nipple positions, the left was done with dual-plane method 1 and the right with dual-plane method stage 2. Since I was already under anesthesia, I added accessory breast removal too, which cost an extra 500,000 won. Like the hospital name, they gave me a small notebook containing the aftercare program, precautions, etc. On the day of surgery, they gave me nipple patches, gauze, and so on. On the surgery day, the nurses prepared me for surgery, and after I lay down, the anesthesiologist came and said, “You’ll start to feel groggy now.” When I came to, the nurses were saying, “Please wake up, patient, please wake up,” and I got down from the operating table and sat in a chair. Since my home was far away, I stayed hospitalized for one day with the painless injection still in place. The fact that the hospital provided an inpatient room was pretty important to me In the evening they gave me beef porridge, so I ate it, and I was discharged in the morning. After 1 week, I received aftercare, and after the 2-week care, because I have a bit of pigeon chest, they gave me a chest band. I wear it only when sleeping to prevent the implants from moving sideways. After 3 weeks, I viewed the CCTV footage and checked it on a tablet, and now it’s almost one month, so I want to wear a sports bra I had surgery in summer, so heat rose in my breasts and they were itchy, so I scratched and bled, but since I work under air conditioning, I wasn’t hugely affected. Still, when I sweated, I wanted to wash, but I held back. I think that time was hard. But after a week passed, I could wash, so it was okay. The incision site was inframammary. I did want to do transaxillary a bit more, but my inframammary fold was pronounced, the distance was short, and most of the hospitals I visited recommended the inframammary incision. Since my breasts were slightly constricted (pointed), I thought it would be better if the doctor could operate while looking directly. There was pain, but the stuffiness was much worse than the pain. The compression bra was so tight Movement was uncomfortable too, and the hardest part was sleeping at about a 45-degree angle, so my lower back and hips hurt so much So after 5 days, I just lay down and slept. The breast pain gradually got better starting on day 5. After about 2 weeks, there was no pain at all, and the only inconvenience was having to be careful not to raise my arms when moving, but it was fine. Until now, I’ve only been wearing clothes with zippers or buttons. These days, lots of people wear two-way zipper clothes or zippered clothes too, so it should be okay!
