About a month ago, I wrote a review on the day of surgery before-and-after, and now that some swelling has gone down, I brought another review! I’m not a broker! I didn’t receive anything from the hospital at all! This is a review of surgery I paid for myself! I thought about not writing because it was a hassle.. but before surgery, when I was worried about absolutely everything, I got a lot of information from this community, so I’m writing in case it helps everyone who’s considering surgery~ This is an extremely personal review, so please take it just as reference~
The post-op photo is a real review from exactly week 4, with absolutely no editing, and if the jawline looks bumpy, it’s because of swelling! I still can’t really say, wow, I got so much slimmer, but my face got smaller and my square jaw looks more refined! The hospital said I still have a long way to go before the swelling goes down, so I’m looking forward to what’s ahead even more!!!
Right after the surgery ended, it was my first time under general anesthesia, so I was shaking like a leaf, it was freezing.. and it hurt.. But that only lasted a short while, and I got better quickly, so I ate the ice cream and pumpkin porridge the hospital gave me, then got discharged with Pucca hair..
Thankfully.. I didn’t really have pain, and although there was swelling, I could go about daily life, so I went back to work on day 4.
They said talking a lot and laughing a lot helps swelling go down, so I chatted hard every day.. For walking, I couldn’t get 10,000 steps a day, but I tried to walk a little more in daily life, and maybe from about a week later, they told me to eat regular food, so I ate comfortably except for hard and tough foods! Living somewhat carefully, I could see the swelling dropping quickly from week 2.
Right now as I’m writing this, I’m at week 5 and living daily life without discomfort, and they said I can drink alcohol after week 6, so I’m excited thinking about drinking next week!!
If you’re curious about anything, ask me, everyone!! Since it’s such a major surgery, rather than thinking, I should’ve done it sooner!, I just think I’m glad I thought a lot about it, chose the hospital well, and had the surgery safely.. I only think, I’m glad I did it!
And they say this hospital isn’t a place that pursues dramatic changes, but during the consultation, when I saw the before-and-after surgery photos, I thought, if this isn’t dramatic, how small does everyone want to get..? Within a safe range, they reflect your needs and shave enough..
I’ll write another review when the swelling goes down more~
***For the surgery, I had the long osteotomy for square jaw, plus cortical bone reduction and masseter muscle reduction~~ and slight advancement of the chin!***
This review is for a surgery review pursuing natural beauty.
