My stats) Before surgery: 70A I had a protruding sternum, and because of bone asymmetry my breasts were uneven, so the inframammary folds didn’t line up either. I skipped every place that only focused on making the breasts bigger during the consultation. According to the MD director, increasing the size is important too, but matching the inframammary folds and clearly correcting the asymmetry is more important.
So I had surgery with Motiva implants through an inframammary fold incision, and in the early period after surgery I worried because the feel hadn’t softened, but after 3 months I could really feel it softening a lot. I felt the inframammary fold correction right away as soon as the bandages came off, and as of now I’m extremely satisfied! Right now it kind of feels like, wow, it’s amazing that half a year has already passed...? Now that I have about six months of experience with them, they finally feel like my own breasts haha Until 3-4 months, they still didn’t really feel like part of my body, but now they feel completely mine lolol
I originally live outside Seoul, so going back and forth to the hospital was a bit inconvenient, but honestly.. people who live outside Seoul will all know how hard it is to find a skilled hospital famous for breast surgery....^^ Even though traveling back and forth was tiring, I truly don’t regret doing it here. The aftercare programs available are also much more solid than what I could get locally. On surgery day, I even stayed hospitalized for free, so there were no accommodation costs and I stayed comfortably before coming back!
I’m continuing to manage the inframammary incision scar too, and maybe because it’s hidden under the breast fold, unless someone specifically lifts it to look, it’s not visible from the front. It has faded a lot compared with the early days! They said scars are best monitored consistently until at least the 1-year mark, so I’m going to check this regularly. Still, the worry + discomfort + impatience I felt at first are now completely gone, so these days I’m living comfortably! I don’t think you need to be too scared from the beginning about recovery after breast surgery (seriously x100)
★★Oh, and!! There’s something I definitely want to say at the end★★
I’ve heard people around me say, why are you so stressed over breasts that no one knows about once you’re clothed.... But honestly, stress is hard to understand 100% unless you experience it yourself, right? If you’ve struggled a lot emotionally because of one body part, I would cautiously recommend surgery. I used to be so lacking in confidence because of my breasts that I never even showered together with friends when we traveled, but now my self-esteem has recovered a lot, just like my body shape. I hope everyone gains the breasts they want and finds self-satisfaction and happiness. Don’t lose confidence, everyone, fighting!! :D
