I had autologous costal cartilage nose surgery back in the very early days, when it wasn’t trendy yet! My nasal bridge had a slight hump, but I wanted to make it naturally glamorous mainly around the nasal tip, so they recommended autologous costal cartilage.. Back then, ear cartilage was used a lot, so I thought autologous costal cartilage was a major surgery, but these days, I see many places using autologous costal cartilage, and it definitely gives a glamorous feel.. Maybe because I had it done at such a large hospital, the surgery time was delayed, parking was a mess, and I think I waited blankly inside the operating room for over an hour lol The screams of people having surgery, the chaotic operating room, and the time I was actually waiting felt even scarier, I’d say.
