First, before surgery, I had uneven vision between the eyes (-4, -1.5) and slight astigmatism. After surgery, both eyes came out as 1.0 and 1.0, and after 6 months, it dropped to 0.9 and 1.0. Now, 3 years later, it’s around 0.8 and 0.9, and the side effects that developed seem to be diplopia (slight), decreased night vision, floaters, and glare/halos (dangerous for night driving), about that much. Still, after living without glasses, my quality of life really improved, so even if someone asked whether I would go back to 3 years ago and have the surgery again, I think I would definitely do it!!
