I had double eyelid surgery by buried suture only in early 2020. I looked at revision surgery reviews on another app and went around to several places for consultations (initials, initials, initials, initials, initials, initials, etc.). I’m posting this review because I want to narrow it down and share the places I liked with everyone here while thinking it over
Initials (Sinsa) Maybe because the clinic was big, the waiting time was long.. Still, the consultation manager first listened to why I wanted revision surgery, then showed me photos of cases similar to my eyes and explained how I could receive revision surgery. But I felt like design-related things are usually discussed with the doctor, yet I talked more about the design with the manager That was a bit disappointing. Rather than leading the consultation first, the doctor mostly listened to what questions I had. Since it was revision surgery, of course I had a lot of questions Maybe because of that, the consultation was fairly long. When I asked about canthoplasty or ptosis correction, the doctor looked at my eye condition and checked whether they were possible or not. The conclusion was that the double eyelid absolutely has to be revised by incision only, and he recommended lateral canthoplasty, but said it should not be excessive. And because my eyes look sleepy, he said I also need ptosis correction together. The manager went over again and explained what the doctor had said, and there was a bit of pressure to pay a deposit But since the clinic was big and I had seen good reviews, it wasn’t too bad. Aftercare is possible for up to 1 year, and CCTV is possible, but they said you have to request it in advance beforehand. (They said there is also a fee.)
Initials (Apgujeong) I went there the same way after seeing revision surgery reviews. It wasn’t as big as the first clinic, but there were also a lot of people here. The manager listened to my consultation first, and rather than directly telling me the surgical method, it felt like she was trying to understand what direction I wanted to take. After waiting 3–4 minutes, I was able to consult with the doctor. After I said it was a revision surgery consultation, the doctor first examined my eyes. The doctor explained all the surgical methods. The multiple creases are an issue, but he also said my eyes are currently uneven.. To change the line, double eyelid surgery is needed, but he said non-incisional would not be effective, and incision would be needed to define the line clearly. He said then the current eyes that form multiple creases could also improve, and ptosis correction was not essential. Since it was revision surgery, I really wanted the surgery to look as natural as possible, so I think I felt relieved that he said I didn’t need to add various procedures. He said my eyes seemed likely to turn out well, to the point that I could look forward to how they would look after surgery, and that I didn’t need to worry Hearing that made me feel a little more at ease.. The manager told me all the costs, and it was the same style of going over and explaining again what the doctor had said. She brought up the deposit, but there was nothing burdensome or forceful about it. Instead, she said I could look around at other places more, and at the end she sent me a summary of the consultation by KakaoTalk. They provide aftercare for 3 years, and said CCTV can be viewed. They said they do swelling laser treatment.
Initials (Apgujeong) There was no one waiting, so I could get the consultation right away. The manager was kind and listened very carefully to what kind of eye shape I wanted. When I told the doctor I wanted to make the double eyelid line much higher than now, he tried both an outline and a semi-outline, but he did not recommend an outline. He said it would look too fancy compared with my nose and could look unnatural, so he suggested making it higher as an in-out line instead. He said it would have to be done by incision. I felt like the consultation focused more on canthoplasty than on the double eyelid line..! Should I say I felt some pride in canthoplasty.. He said my eyes are also good for canthoplasty and that I could definitely see an effect. Like the previous clinic, he said my eyes would become much prettier with revision surgery. I liked it because the double eyelid line he made for me and the after-photos of canthoplasty looked natural, but this was the only place that didn’t mention my uneven eyes, so I did hesitate a little There was no pressure to book, but around evening they did call to ask if I had decided. Aftercare is 1 year, and they said CCTV is possible. But they say there isn’t much postoperative care here.
I wrote out the places that stood out among the consultations I went to, but I haven’t decided yet, so I’m posting because I wanted to share with everyone here..!! Among people who went consultation-hopping for revision surgery, if anyone was recommended non-incisional surgery, please share~~ Since my goal is to have surgery that looks natural, I want to go to and visit as many different places as possible.
