An acquaintance had a hospital where they had their parents’ surgery done, so I got a referral. At first, I wasn’t very impressed. I wondered if it was just a local clinic.. and there was only one director, you know? But when I looked into it in more detail, they weren’t doing all kinds of things like noses or skin and so on; they specialized specifically only in eye surgery..! So I thought it was better than expected and went for a consultation, and I guess my mom liked how professionally they explained things. After debating between other hospitals, we trusted the director and had the surgery here 2 weeks ago! Because of progress checks, for about a week after surgery we went back and forth to the hospital several times, and they checked very carefully whether there were any problems with the surgical sites! They also told us to be sure to contact them if there were any problems, which was really good. It felt strongly like even if there were a problem, the director would take responsibility, so should I say it felt reassuring? Around one month, we’ll go to the hospital to see the before-and-after, and I’m looking forward to that change too..!
