First of all, my teeth weren’t severely crooked, so I only had one tooth extracted and wore braces for about 1 year and 6 months. After getting it done, I definitely feel a bit more confident when I smile haha. But the downside is that my upper lip really became smaller and thinner. Also, as I lost fat around my mouth, my nasolabial folds got worse + I developed hollowness next to my nose too... The black triangles bothered me a bit at first, but now they’re barely noticeable.
