Before before after after Normally my nasal bridge was low, so I used to get nose filler to create a bridge, but the more I got it, the less pretty the shape looked, and it made my nose look too thick, so I thought I should get rhinoplasty!
I looked into many places carefully, and through a friend’s recommendation I found Wannabe. They had many of the lines I wanted, and with other hospitals, there were many directors who did lots of surgeries like eyes+nose and so on, so I was a little hesitant. But at Wannabe, there is a separate director specializing in eyes and a separate director specializing in noses, so I trusted them and had a consultation with Director Cha Myeong-gyu, who specializes in noses~
First I got a CT scan and consulted with the director, and he said I had a bulbous nose + small, short nose + slight hump nose.. As expected, I thought there was a lot to do, and the director explained in detail whether the line I wanted was possible with the nose I had, so I think that made me trust him!!
First of all, even before the consultation, I wanted to use rib cartilage as late as possible, but everyone recommended using rib cartilage if I wanted a glamorous look. For the nasal tip, I thought the material matters, but the director’s skill comes first, and the director picked up on that too. So we decided to proceed with ear cartilage + septal cartilage + 5 mm silicone, and he said I didn’t need a separate osteotomy, so I didn’t have osteotomy!
On the day of surgery, I was the first surgery of the day, so I was really nervous, but the operating room staff kept talking to me to help me relax, and I was so thankful
Everyone around me said I didn’t have much bruising or swelling after surgery and that it looked like it would turn out pretty. When I took the splint off a week later, the glamorous straight-to-curved line I wanted had come out, so I’m very satisfied hehe.
There’s still swelling left, but once the swelling goes down, don’t you think it’ll be even prettier >ㅇ<
