Hi! I figured there might be people here who are debating between revision surgery and removal, so I’m writing this review.
If someone asked me why I chose revision surgery even after it had ruptured... I’d probably say this lol: <Do you know the sorrow of living with small breasts?> People who were born with large breasts from the start probably could never understand, even if their lives depended on it. How much a flat, plain chest can make your figure look like an elementary school kid’s...^_ So even when I first had breast surgery with Mentor Smooth 12 years ago, I didn’t regret it one bit. Since something that wasn’t there appeared, it felt a little heavy, and it was the kind of chest that was noticeable when I took off my underwear, but... for me, it was a cosmetic surgery with very high satisfaction.
So even after I was diagnosed with a rupture, my heart leaned much more toward <<< revision surgery rather than removal. When I had my first surgery, I didn’t know anything and just followed others without much fear, so this time, since I had much more information, I wanted to check everything properly and then get the revision surgery. While actually going to consultations, I weighed things a lot in my head: this place isn’t great because of this, that place doesn’t appeal to me because of that....^^
The reason I ultimately had revision surgery at MD was because, during the consultation there, I learned many things I had missed during my first surgery. What is important in breast surgery, how sensitive and complex the mammary gland tissues are, and what the best option I could choose in this situation was. They spent a lot of time consulting with me; the way of speaking was kind of tsundere, but the content was substantial... I was drawn in by that strange charm and ended up having surgery there lol.
But I don’t know if it’s just me, but after this revision surgery, my recovery speed is way faster than after my first surgery? Of course, it was a really long time ago, so there isn’t much I remember exactly, but I clearly remember that even up to half a year after surgery, I had trouble sleeping because of a tingling sensation around my nipples and occasional pulling at the incision sites. Strangely, I don’t have that now.
Even when I lie face down, there’s no unnatural? shifting sensation. I don’t know if it’s because this is my second time, but it’s just so comfortable. This place also doesn’t make you wear a bandeau, so there’s no suffering from pressure~ When it’s time, I just have to happily go to the hospital for aftercare, so there’s less impatience and worry. I guess this is why people look for a breast-specialized hospital lol. Honestly, the director knows better than I do whether these are really my breasts ^_^ so I’m recovering well with trust and without major worries.
I reduced them sli~~ghtly from 350 cc to 315 and 335 cc, but I don’t feel disappointed about the breast size at all. Rather, before, because my surgically enhanced breasts were so obvious when I took off my underwear, I couldn’t even dream of going to a public bathhouse, but now they look much more natural! The breast asymmetry was also corrected, and I’m truly satisfied.
From the very beginning, when choosing a hospital, I looked at:
1. Whether it was a breast surgery department / breast-specialized hospital 2. But instead of only looking at the hospital, checking how many years of experience the director who would operate on my breasts had (A big hospital with lots of people is not automatically a good hospital. It’s essential to check whether that hospital only does ‘breasts’ or whether it does ‘eyes, nose, facial contouring, etc.’ all together. Their experience may also be described as a bundle of all kinds of miscellaneous cosmetic surgeries, not just breasts ^_) 3. How they take care of aftercare (Not places that simply have one Caps machine and say, “We have aftercare^^.” I wanted to go to a place with a variety of equipment.)
That’s how I chose. I’m writing this quietly because I think it would be good not only for people having revision surgery but also for those having their first surgery to check these things too. (I also felt regret wondering what it would have been like if I had checked all of this for my first surgery.. lol)
Since I’m really satisfied with this revision surgery, I hope everyone else also meets a good hospital and gets results they’re satisfied with. Let’s all have amazing cosmetic surgery results!! The path to becoming prettier is hard, but the satisfaction that comes from the result is really big, so I hope everyone keeps going strong.
Lastly, I’m cheering for everyone looking into hospitals, everyone waiting for surgery, and everyone recovering! I hope only happy things fill your days from now on >< Thank you for reading my lacking review~~~!! hahaha Have a good day!!
