I had a consultation for my first double eyelid surgery with Director Kim Jin-tae. He recommended an incisional method and fat removal, and said my eyes would loosen if done with buried suture. He said that if I had lateral and lower canthoplasty, my eyelashes would stand up more and poke my eye, so I should not do it. I was impressed by how he thought about functional issues first. He measured directly with a ruler and shaped the double eyelid at every millimeter, so I felt he was very meticulous.
