Nose Re-Surgery

Collapse after removing a nasal implant

When you look at people in their seventies and eighties now, it is extremely rare to find someone who has had nose surgery. Nose surgery was not this popular in the past, so I think there are limits to the information we have. It has not been that long since nasal implant removal became common, either. Even people who had their implants removed quite a while ago have probably had them out for no more than about ten years at most. When you hear people who are ten or twenty years post-removal say they have been fine so far, they still do not know what will happen in the future. My concern these days is that I am in my twenties now—if I remove this implant, will my nose hold up well without collapsing until I am seventy or eighty? Aging will definitely happen... Am I being too much of an overthinker to worry about things like this? What do you think?? I may care less about my appearance at that age than I do now, but if functional problems develop, that would be a serious issue...
