Today is the 4th day after my 3-part facial contouring surgery. From the first day, I bought a box each of New Care and Pocari Sweat cans, and I’ve only been consuming those. For medication, I received 3 kinds from the hospital: an anti-inflammatory, an antibiotic, and medicine to reduce nausea, and I’m taking those. Separately, I’m also taking medicine that contains Danggui Suyusan by mixing it with water whenever I take my meds. Maybe because of that, I don’t feel hungry, but I often feel like I’m about to have diarrhea, and when I go to the bathroom, only a little oily watery stool? comes out and that’s it. I can feel every day that I’m losing muscle and fat from my body, but my face shows no sign of the swelling going down. On day 3, I thought, “Tomorrow is day 4, so the swelling should go down a bit, right?” But wow, it got more swollen ;; Right now, the swelling is moving down from under my cheekbones to my jaw, neck, and even the pit of my stomach. My lower face is insanely puffy, and my lips aren’t swollen, but the inside of my mouth is all swollen, so it’s hard to talk. There are no externally visible bruises at all, so even on day 4, if the swollen area feels tingly, I immediately massage it with an ice pack. When I look at other reviews, they say swelling starts to subside from day 3.. I can’t agree. With this level of swelling, I’m expecting at least 2 weeks to a month. Anyway, up to day 3, the only hard part was repeatedly spitting bloody phlegm while sleeping. I don’t have pain or anything, so daily life isn’t affected at all. Except that my face is swollen to twice its size and I can’t go outside. Oh, for showering, I only wash my body, and for my face I use cleansing wipes and wipe between sections of my scalp, which feels refreshing. There isn’t much to my day-4 review, but I just want the swelling to go down a little faster so I can go outside. Everyone, hang in there.
