I really had it done a long time ago... so I don’t remember the hospital name or the doctor’s name;;;; Back then, the Mongolian folds at the inner corners of my eyes had gotten really deep, so every morning I got annoyed removing eye discharge shaped like a unicorn horn, and I looked into it and got it done... They said it would go away if I did a little epicanthoplasty, but they said epicanthoplasty would leave a scar. When I asked what I was supposed to do then, they said that’s why many people do double eyelid surgery together while getting epicanthoplasty. Since my eyes were monolids, I decided I should add a double eyelid line too, and decided on epicanthoplasty + double eyelid surgery. What I learned then was that getting double eyelids absolutely does not make the eyes bigger... They said only canthoplasty or ptosis correction affects eye size... To start with the conclusion, the surgery went very well, and I lived very comfortably for 5 years... Around 5 years later, I woke up in the morning, went into the bathroom to wash my face, and my face reflected in the mirror looked somehow awkward.... The right double eyelid that had been with me for 5 years disappeared without a trace..... I was so shocked that I rubbed it several times, wondering if I was seeing it wrong.... It didn’t come back... Of course... the double eyelid had loosened... only on one side... What I learned then was that there is truly zero size difference between an eye with a double eyelid and an eye without one.... The doctor’s words that whether you have a double eyelid or not does not determine eye size were not even 1% wrong. Holding back tears, I searched for the name of the doctor who had operated on me before (I don’t even remember it now) and found the hospital... It was in Apgujeong... This doctor had since become independent as a director and opened a hospital... When I said I came because of revision surgery, the receptionist’s expression didn’t look good.... I was waiting nervously, wondering what to do, but when I took off my glasses, the receptionist also had a ??? expression... I understood... I had a double eyelid only on one eye, and it was extremely clean.... I still remember the face from that morning when it was funny but I couldn’t laugh and almost cried. Fortunately, the director said they would do the revision surgery and only charge the anesthesia fee. But for the first surgery, it was definitely sedation anesthesia, while for the revision surgery I think it was local anesthesia? They gave me three injections in the eyelid, and it hurt so much I almost stopped breathing... In pain that felt like they were sewing my eyelid raw, 20 minutes of revision surgery passed. My eye, which hadn’t even swollen during the first surgery, swelled up pink the next day like a well-ripened stye. I cried buckets inside, wondering what if I ended up with uneven eyes. I couldn’t cry outwardly... Of course... It was already swollen, and if crying made it inflamed, that would be a big problem. I don’t know whether heaven helped me or the doctor was a master surgeon, but after a week passed and the swelling went down, the eye became similar to the normal left side. It has been maintaining well like that until now...
I can’t really feel that I became prettier after plastic surgery, but it’s a hundred times better than when I collected unicorn horns every morning, and I’m happy because I can put in contact lenses well too.... It would have been better if I hadn’t needed revision surgery, but after experiencing revision surgery, I felt reassured that even if something goes wrong again, it’s not completely unfixable, so I’m searching for another plastic surgery clinic again...
This time I want liposuction...ㅠ.ㅜ
