Today is day 1 after surgery. I had surgery in the morning the day before and was discharged around 2 p.m. My tissue tends to bleed easily so the bleeding was worse than I expected. I wore the compression garment too (thankfully, I didn’t have a blood drainage bag) I took a taxi home, dragged my woozy, aching body around, and since I had to eat and take my medicine, I ordered abalone porridge.
I ate, took my medicine, and maybe it was past 10 p.m. I kept taking little walks in between, intentionally buying one bottle of water at a time (partly because they told me not to carry anything heavy)
I was doing fine, but before going to bed, somehow... my stomach felt bad, and as soon as I went to the bathroom, rainbow beam
I asked why that happened, and they said it was probably because the anesthesia made my stomach feel upset.
I came in today and received care. I saw the director, and got hyperbaric oxygen and laser care.
The consultant said my blood sugar was dropping and even gave me candy and coffee (angel)
They said they’ll remove the compression garment and dressings in two days (day 3),
so let’s just hang in there for one more day!!
