I had surgery yesterday around 11 a.m., and when I opened my eyes, it was 6:30.. When I was going around for consultations, the director explained things in detail, and it was the longest consultation out of all the places I went to, so I trusted them and booked on the same day.
I came in around 9:30 a.m., they drew various things on my face, listened to what I thought was the biggest issue.. I think they really listen a lot to the patient’s requests. Rather than just doing it in the director’s own style.. But I’m bad at making decisions and kept asking, “Will it be okay? Will it suit me?” haha. It’s the day of surgery, and now I’m writing this at the hospital in the morning before discharge. Honestly, yesterday I thought I shouldn’t have done it and wondered why I was putting myself through this.. I couldn’t breathe, so I stayed up all night.. It’s hard.. so hardㅠ It’s a little better now, but it’s still hard..ㅠ For me, it was 45-degree cheekbone, lateral cheekbone, chin tip reduction and setback, and revision surgery for the square jaw. For the chin tip setback, I have a slight underbite tendency, but it only shows when I smile, and since I’m not smiling all the time, they said it was my choice, so I got greedy.. When I look at reviews, they say a double chin is inevitableㅠㅠ so I was already thinking about liposuction later too.. For the 45-degree cheekbones, I asked them to do just a little because I was worried about cheek sagging. For the side facial width, because my eyes and nose are close-set, I wanted to shave the cheekbones dramatically, but since my midface is on the longer side, I asked them to do a little less.. For the square jaw, in the past I only had the square part shaved, so this time I redid it with a long curved line.. For the front chin, reducing it too much would break the proportions of my forehead, midface, and mouth, so we decided not to reduce it a lot, just a little, basically refining the whole face overall.. .. I’m curious what my face will look like once the swelling goes down... The battle with swelling starts from now too.. And since bone has been removed, I started this prepared for the battle against sagging as well, but it’s so, so hard.. People who do double jaw surgery and facial contouring together are amazing....ㅠㅠ I want to sleep, but if I fall asleep, in that short time I can’t breathe and wake up gaspingㅠㅠ My face right now is day 1, so I look completely awful.. haha I also read a lot of reviews here and got help from this community, and I’m grateful, so I’m posting too... haha
