There’s almost no effect... From what I looked up, it says that in cases of asymmetry, up to 70% correction of the asymmetry is possible, but.... To me, it feels like only about 30% improved. After double-jaw surgery, it wasn’t particularly painful, but it was really hard going through about 3 months of not being able to eat properly...
Even now, when I take photos, photographers ask me to tilt my head slightly to the right, and when I take pictures, I still come out looking asymmetrical...
And at the hospital, they did take CT scans and regular photos, but they didn’t really comment on themㅠㅠ (If things had gone as expected, they’d probably be looking at the photos with me and bragging about the results...) I guess they must feel awkward too because there isn’t much difference whether they did the surgery or not....
Anyway, if you’re thinking of getting double-jaw surgery because of asymmetry, just don’t do it. You can consider it ineffective. And Korean medicine clinics and facial asymmetry management centers are scams, so don’t fall for them....
