When viewed from the front, my whole image looked different because of my nose. -My nasal dorsum looked bumpy and strange. -Compared with my nasal bridge, my nasal tip wasn’t very high, so the proportions felt off.
Before surgery, I had a lot of worries about getting rhinoplasty itself, so I tried filler first, but in conclusion, if I could go back, I’d want to physically stop myself from getting filler. That’s how little effect I saw, and of course, it did nothing for the bulbous nose. So I ended up getting rhinoplasty.
Looking for a clinic was a bit difficult, but I thought visiting in person would be more helpful than just looking at photos on my phone, so I narrowed down a few places and went to consultations. Among them, I think I had surgery at the place whose aesthetic sense matched mine best and that didn’t over-recommend nasal materials. No matter how bulbous the nose is, if they say, “Get nostril reduction,” without even properly looking at my nose.... it lowers my trust, you know? ^^
Anyway, because I had gotten filler, I also had foreign material removal done during rhinoplasty, and while correcting my bulbous nose, my biggest goal was for the nasal dorsum to look smooth from the side. Still, the director created the design the way I wanted, and thanks to the bridge-to-tip line being shaped well, I think the bulbous nose was definitely corrected.
It’s now been over a month since my rhinoplasty, and I’m recovering well without any major discomfort or pain so far. The swelling went down faster than I expected, so from now on I think I just need to manage it well so inflammation doesn’t occur.
Of course, I think the surgical aspects should be considered when choosing a clinic, but I also think it’s good to see how sincerely the director and consultant treat you! That way, even after surgery, when I ask various questions, they answer thoughtfully, and I can finish the surgery without feeling anxious. Since this is something I experienced myself, I thought I could tell you, so I’m pointing it out once again.
