I felt like my nose didn’t harmonize with my face at all, so I wanted rhinoplasty and went for a consultation. During the consultation, the director said my nasal bridge was already fairly sufficient, so they did not recommend surgery to put silicone in the bridge. They recommended only raising the nasal tip using ear cartilage and septal cartilage. When I consulted at another hospital, they said I had a slight hump and that it would be better to shave it down, but at this hospital, they showed me the CT scan and said, “The nasal bridge is this smooth, so what hump are they talking about?” They said there was no need to shave the hump, and that simply raising the nasal tip would be enough. I really liked that they didn’t recommend anything excessive. My boyfriend hasn’t given me permission, so I haven’t set a surgery date yet, but if I persuade my boyfriend and get his permission, I really want to have surgery here
