After a long consultation with the consultant, I saw the director briefly. Since my eyelids are on the thicker side, I went in thinking about an incisional method, but they strongly recommended the non-incisional buried-suture method. Their policy seems to be that if the eyes are not the kind that absolutely require incision, it is better to do the buried-suture method. I was taken aback because it was the exact opposite opinion from the hospital I had visited right before, but the reason was reasonable, and both the staff and the director were kind.
