I had double eyelid surgery when I was 20 and knew nothing, and it was completely botched. They ignored us when we begged them to please make it thin, and it came out thick. For 7-8 years, I kept living while hearing people say my double eyelids were thick. If people said it like that without me even asking, how thick must they have looked lol. They've finally gotten a bit thinner now, but it's been 10 years. Fine, at least they're not sausage eyes, I guess. But there was barely any consultation, they didn't explain things in detail, and they didn't tell me anything about how I would turn out... so I'm just blaming my ignorant self.
