First of all, the director was kind, but the nurse? wasn’t exactly kind. During surgery and right after surgery, it didn’t hurt, but as the anesthesia gradually wore off, it started to hurt. It hurt whether I opened or closed my eyes, and because it hurt, I just slept. I guess it depends on the person, but for me, the swelling went down a lot before even 1 month had passed, so I just went around normally.
People say it hurts when the stitches are removed, but it didn’t hurt even 1 bit. For real. I’m the type to make a big fuss over pain, but it didn’t hurt.
The director said that if my line was set high, there was a high chance I’d get sausage-like eyes, so we set it low. I had surgery aiming for an in-out line, but it became a complete inline crease.
After 3 months? 4 months? the double eyelid at the outer end of my eye came undone, so I had revision surgery, and now, 2 years later, I like my right eye, but the front part of my left eye is half-undone? to that extent, so after a bit more time passes, I think I’ll have revision surgery again.
If it weren’t for the crease coming undone, it’s really natural and pretty. I got tons of compliments on my eyes from people around me, and no one knows I had double eyelid surgery.
But I guess the crease coming undone is a big risk..... They say some people’s bodies may be more prone to it coming undone, so I don’t know whether the clinic is the problem.
