During the consultation, the doctor only recommended one procedure: side cheekbone reduction. At the hospital where I had it done, if you only do one procedure, it can be done under sedation, and the doctor was someone who took a lot of pride in that. So I was a little tempted, but I went in already set on doing all 3 types, and I thought I probably wouldn’t have enough time to do more later, so I got all 3 done~
I didn’t have much fat on my face, but I had a little jowling and some sagging skin that didn’t look pretty, so I mentioned it. Based on the doctor’s aesthetic standards, he did a moderate amount of liposuction + a small amount of deep cheek fat removal.
All the after-surgery photos I uploaded were taken with the basic camera. I only mosaicked my face, and I didn’t use any retouching app. I also uploaded photos from before the swelling went down, but actually, even when I went for aftercare, the therapist said I had relatively little swelling. I myself was very satisfied from the 3-month mark, but the swelling continued to go down for a looooong time after that. For anyone worried about swelling, I really want to say: think of it as a long process and don’t worry too much in advance.
After facial contouring, I had revision rhinoplasty 3 months later and fat grafting 1 year later, so in the before-and-after photos I uploaded, there is some difference in my nose and facial fat~ I included my other surgery history for reference.
After surgery, I couldn’t eat properly for quite a while, so I lost 3 kg in just a week, and after that I maintained it well and lost another 2 kg, reaching my lowest weight (44 kg). Recently I gained 3-4 kg back, but because my face is so slim, no one notices…ㅎㅎ I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
Recently I became interested in body liposuction, so I came back to this community after a long time, and to build up points, I looked at posts and left some comments. Some people asked me to share information, so I’m posting this in case it helps!
When I was looking into surgery, reviews like this were such a big help to me too. I don’t have any sagging now, and I had dull sensation under my right eye, but that also recovered recently~ For about 1-2 weeks after surgery, I had severe tightening pain in my lower teeth, to the point that I bought separate medication for it, and even after surgery I sometimes felt a tightening sensation, so that was the most stressful part. Now I’m not feeling it much, maybe because I’m currently getting orthodontic treatment? Or because it recovered? Or because I got used to it? If it still bothers me later, I’m thinking about whether to have the pins removed.
My complex was resolved so cleanly, and people around me often say my face shape looks like a doll’s and that my face is so small. When I go to take ID photos, they even don’t retouch my face because they say it’s already so slim. But every surgery varies by person, and the satisfaction each individual feels will also differ, so please fully consider the possibility of side effects. Even so, if you feel it’s something you can accept, I recommend it!
Since this isn’t an ad, I haven’t included the hospital information for now. If you’re curious about the hospital information or cost, leave a comment and I’ll share it!
