Silicone Removal Only, Day 1-Day 7

<Day 1><Day 1-2>After<5 days after tape removal, front>After<5 days after tape removal, side>Before<Before silicone removal / Day 7 after silicone removal>Hello. For my revision surgery, I had silicone and donated costal cartilage used a year and a half ago, and silicone side effects appeared from the very next day. During the 8 years after my first surgery, I never had that kind of problem.

Eventually, after receiving antibiotic treatment more than 6-7 times over more than a year, acquaintances told me it seemed like early contracture was progressing, so I hurriedly had consultations at other hospitals and finally scheduled my silicone removal surgery for today.

It was done closed, and I asked that if there was also a problem with the nasal tip during surgery, they switch to an open approach and remove everything. Right after the surgery ended, I asked, and they said it ended as a closed procedure.. The swelling hasn’t even gone down, but my bridge has already disappeared... They say it will get even lower tomorrow, and I’m scared.. More than feeling relieved, I’m more worried. I just hope time passes without anything happening.

The reason I keep updating this post is to help people who are worried for the same reason as me... I feel like there aren’t many photo reviews of silicone removal. Review after removing the bandage tape yesterday: the side profile is okay. But the front view is full of bruises... It looks awful, like the nose area was smashed hard with a fist. lol A steamed bun squashed while being eaten seems like the perfect comparison. The hospital prescribed Rizaben?? for contracture prevention, so I’m taking it. My skin looks so dirtyㅠ I took it with the rear camera. At the time of surgery, I also got a skin-glow injection, but my skin got wreckedㅠ

Day 7 review Fortunately, I don’t think the contraction phenomenon is that severe yet. The swelling has gone down a lot compared to the beginning, and there is almost no bruising. The bridge is getting lighter day by day, but only the nasal tip is pointing up to the sky... so I do look a bit like Gargamel. I slightly regret not at least refining the nasal tip too. What my friend said, that it will get worse as time passes, scares me so much.
