When I was in middle school, I wanted to straighten my rabbit-like front teeth and slightly crooked lower teeth, so I begged my mom and had orthodontic treatment after extracting 4 teeth. My jaw was already on the small side, and the director said I would become chinless, but back then I only looked at having straight teeth and rushed into orthodontics. But as I gradually got older, I realized this jaw takes up a really large part of the lower face ㅠ If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t have had orthodontic treatment. Unless it’s reeeeeally necessary, please think carefully about extraction orthodontics, especially if you have a small jaw ㅠㅠ
