Review of under-eye fat repositioning + micro fat grafting

I looked into famous hospitals for under-eye fat repositioning, and ㅇㅂㅈ seemed to be the most famous, so I called to make an appointment, but they said consultation would only be possible in February 2024 next year. Sinsa L was also a recommended hospital, so I had a consultation there, and since I had already made up my mind to do it right away anyway, I just had the surgery the very next day. People around me who had it done there also had decent reviews, and it was not a very complicated surgery, so the procedure was finished after a slight incision on the conjunctival side.

[Procedures received: under-eye fat repositioning + micro fat grafting] (1) Is fat grafting really necessary? I told the director that I only wanted fat repositioning and asked whether fat grafting was really necessary, but he strongly recommended it, saying that if I only had fat repositioning, the area could look sunken. He seemed confident, and I thought, “It’s just a little bit of micro fat grafting,” so I did it, but.. Wow.. I’m the type whose swelling really does not go down easily, so it was noticeable the whole 4 weeks, and after 6 weeks, the sunken cheeks had an appropriate amount of volume, so I was satisfied. However, for very young people in their 20s.. unless your cheeks are already sunken, I think this kind of fat grafting might look awkward, but in my case, my cheek hollowing was severe, so I think that’s why I had the fat grafting together. It does not seem like everyone is recommended fat grafting.

(2) What are the results now, after 3 months? I do think I’m glad I did it, but one thing to be a bit careful about is that if you do fat grafting together, the swelling lasts much longer than when you only do under-eye fat repositioning. You need at least 4 weeks before you look human again. At first, my face was swollen like an Avatar for the entire month, so I could not get used to it, and when I watched YouTube reviews, everyone said the swelling went down in 1-2 weeks and they could go about daily life, so I thought that would be the case, but if you had fat grafting, honestly you look ugly like Avatar + a red honey piggy bank for 4 weeks. From week 5, I felt it was somewhat okay to go around without a mask, and by week 6, it was fine. I went to the hospital and pleaded with the director twice, asking why my facial swelling was not going down and why I looked so Avatar-like. Because I had an important company meeting, I was really anxious that it might not go down by then, but in the end, I finished the meeting well. Even though Sinsa L may be a little expensive for under-eye fat repositioning, I recommend it.
