My double eyelid came undone back then, so I had revision surgery. My existing epicanthoplasty was uneven, so one side was an outline and the other was an in-out line, but it was thin and natural, so other people wouldn’t know it was uneven unless I told them. I just asked them to follow the existing line, but they said they had to change the in line to an out line to match them. I ended up with a high out line, major scarring, and the fixation was so strong that the mucous membrane was completely exposed. My eyes look intense, but I don’t know why they cover more of the black pupils and look like drugged eyes. On top of that, my orbital rim area is small, but they made the line too high, so I ended up with trapezoid-shaped double eyelids. My eyes became an extreme case, so there aren’t many places that will take me for revision surgery, and my life feels bleak. I chose it just because they were kind and the consultation was good, but I’m painfully realizing that the most important thing is skill. I wonder if they’re good at canthoplasty restoration?
